Front Pages of the World

What is your favorite newspaper front page? Why?
My favorite newspaper front page is the Star-Gazette because I like the illustration on the front that goes with one of the main articles, and I like the variety of news it includes.

What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it?
Mt favorite headline from the newspaper is "Too Much Waste?" because it has a short intro/description on the front, is paired with a colorful illustration, and it discusses a topic I haven't heard about.

How many stories are on the front page of your favorite?
Four stories are on the front page.

What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? Look at design, size of photos, size of story text, etc.
Most front pages have a large title at the top, subtitles in similar fonts, one main headline in bold with a large picture, and small pictures to go along with the other front page articles. A lot of them have a side bar on one side of the page as well.

What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? Look at design, size of photos, size of headlines, etc.
The location of barcodes, currency of events, font of the newspaper name, color schemes, and number of stories on the front page are different. The amount of pictures to text also varies, especially when comparing the different countries.
