The guidelines for Bowie's incentive plan have changed greatly in the last couple years to make it ore of a challenge for students to earn. Students who pass their classes,  have under 3 absences in any class, and have under 12 for all classes will get one certificates that exempt them from finals. Students who pass their classes,  have under 2 absences in any class, and have under 8 for all classes will get two certificates that exempt them from finals. The opinions on these requirements are various throughout campus.
